I have been working with Jeff for a few months. During a recent DEXA scan I lost 6 lbs. of fat and gained over 2 lbs. of muscle within a 30 day period of working out with Jeff. It is a hard workout but so effective. I was worried 20 minutes would not be enough, but it is an intense workout that leaves my muscles completely fatigued. I’m 41 and a former pro athlete who’s trained for sport and conditioning most of my life. As a new parent, I needed a new plan to keep my fitness going. I don’t have the time to train for 1 hour a day, 6 days a week right now as I have been the last several years. I’ve been very familiar with super slow training methodology yet it has never been something I’ve been very interested in exploring. A 30 minute workout once a week?” I am now a true super fan of this type of workout having researched it on my own and taken Jeff’s intro. It makes complete sense and guess what? It works! I’m a busy, soon-to-be 60 year-old physician, and I don’t have a lot of time to devote to exercise. I have been working out at The Workout Garage with Jeff Grossman for about 10 months, and the results have been great. I have realized incredible benefit in terms of gaining strength and improved balance. I do a lot of stair climbing in my job, and it has gotten much easier. I have done a lot of weight training but this has been the best experience. Jeff is great! It is only 30 minutes but intense, and he guides you through each exercise. I was skeptical, but this is the real deal. it's a rotation of five different machines and two floor exercises done slowly to get the best benefit. Lower risk of injury with this method which was one of the reasons I initially tried it. After nine sessions, I feel stronger, toner and see a big difference. I plan on staying with it. — M.A.R.
